Meet Our Board

Alyce Obee – President
Alyce (together with her husband, Jamie) is the heart behind Canal Creative. She's passionate about gathering community in welcoming spaces where no one is left out and something beautiful is created—together. 

Meghan Barnes – Treasurer
Meghan is a hardworking mom in school for her masters in counseling. She believes in the power of healthy people to build healthy communities. She helps ensure our mission is supported with care and wisdom.

Ruth Staiger – Secretary
With 13 years of experience in healthcare, Ruth brings a deep passion for serving others. She keeps us organized and aligned as we grow a space centered on belonging and compassion.

Beth Horsfall –  Outreach & Partnerships
Beth is a dynamic community-builder, momma of four, always on the move creative, who is fueled with purpose. A talented stained glass artist, she's passionate about creating spaces where people feel seen, welcomed, and inspired. Be sure to check out her upcoming classes with Flow and Glow.
